Noche en Old Victoria - 2009 Vendor Booth Guidelines
Noche en Old Victoria 2009 encourages you to review the following guidelines. Upon completion of review, please fill out the enclosed registration form and return it along with applicable fees to Victoria Chamber of Commerce, P. O. Box 2465, Victoria, TX 77902. All registration forms and fees must be received by April 17, 2009. Money orders or cashiers check should be made payable to the Victoria Chamber of Commerce. This year’s event will again be held in Downtown Victoria at DeLeon Plaza May 2, 2009. Each vendor will receive up to four free admission passes.

All food vendors are required to pay a refundable $100.00 cleaning deposit, payable by cash, money order or cashiers check. Please provide separate payment for booth fees and cleaning deposit. The deposit will be refunded by check to the vendor after the event and only after verification of the cleanliness of the booth location. Vendors leaving the event early will not receive a deposit re-imbursement.·
Vendors are NOT permitted to sell American-made soft drinks, any brand of alcoholic beverage or water of any brand. Failure to adhere to this operating principle will cause the vendor to forfeit their booth sales and to shutdown operation.·
Toy vendors will not be allowed to sell silly string products or products containing confetti.
2. Booths are required to be set-up and ready for business no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday May 2, 2009 and all vehicles out of the area. Booth operators are required stay throughout the event (12 noon to 12 midnight). Booths will be dismantled after midnight.
3. Booth assignments will be made by the Noche en Old Victoria committee and no relocation will be allowed. Booths and displays may be set up Friday evening May 1st beginning at 6:30 p.m. and no later than 8:30 p.m. (Trailers must be moved in Friday night)
4. Booth space will be up to 16 linear feet located on the opposite side of each street bordering DeLeon Plaza. Two booths will be required to trailers longer than 16 feet (including tongue).
5. A 110 Volt power receptacle will be provided at each booth location. This receptacle is to be used for fans, lights, small appliances, etc. The receptacle should not be overloaded. If additional power is required the vendor may consider a supplemental power source (small generator) at the vendor’s expense. Use of a generator will be the sole responsibility of the booth operator and appropriate safety and operating considerations must be in place to protect the public from injury and illness. Electricity will not be provided till the day of the event. You may list what type and number of appliances to be used therefore ensuring you will have enough power supplied to you.
6. Booth operators are required to provide an ABC fire extinguisher. The extinguisher must be located in the booth.
7. Booth operators selling taxable merchandise are responsible for collection and reporting of Sales Tax per the regulatory requirements.
8. Booths operators selling food items must provide a roof over the booth and must adhere to the Victoria Health Department regulations.
9. Booth participants are responsible for furnishing their own water, for cleaning, hand washing and drinking.
10. Glass bottles or containers are prohibited on the grounds. All consumable products must be plastic, Styrofoam or paper containers.
11. Each booth participant will be responsible for providing one 30-gallon or larger waste container plus plastic bags for waste disposal. All trash must be kept in plastic bags. Booth occupants who do not exercise control over waste will lose their cleaning deposit of $100.00 and will be barred from further participation in Noche en Old Victoria.
12. Booth participants may bring ice chest to the booth area. The Noche en Old Victoria committee asks that they be kept away from the public’s view. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN BOOTHS.
13. Booth participants are responsible for their own tables, chairs and whatever items needed.
14. Booth participants are responsible for their own operating monies. The Victoria Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for the security of monies or valuables.
15. Booth participants must submit requests to sell specific items to the Noche en Old Victoria committee. Requests to sell items not in keeping with the overall theme will be denied. Only the approved items listed on the registration form will be allowed to be sold. Items not listed for approval will not be allowed. (The Noche en Old Victoria committee reserves the right to prohibit at the time of entry or at the time of the festival any material or presentation found offensive or illegal.
16. Booth vendors agree to hold Noche en Old Victoria and its agents harmless from any and all liability whatsoever.
